Arles- the color of a sunflower. That golden yellow. Often a yellow described as being either Mediterranean or Tuscan colors, Native American, Americana, primitive, rustic. Again- it is the rich yellow of the petals from a golden sunflower!
This rich, deep yellow was inspired by the town of Arles in the south of France where a wide range of earthy yellow ochres are dug straight from the ground. It’s a natural rustic color as well as a modern color.
